Now it’s the time for me to deliver my speech. But before that I do hope that you will not mind of my speech. It’s not about our religion but the public one. So, for not neglecting time let’s get start.

What you’re seeing by your eyes on the monitor is the title of what I will deliver to you all. And that’s about “global warming”. I choose this title because it’s one of world problems that we’re virtually facing. Besides that, it’s one of the most dangerous problems that we’re in it. To get more information about it, let’s learn it step by step. Here I will share you some information about global warming.

First of all, we are going to talk about what the global warming is. Cause it’s the first stage to get more information about global warming effectively. Without knowing definition of global warming, absolutely we will not be able to know it widely. I will provide you at least two definitions of the global warming here.

Here is the first definition. Shortly, global warming is average rising on world surface either on land area, ocean or atmosphere. It causes world temperature gets hotter and hotter. And we can feel the sensation right now.

We have known what the global warming is from the previous definition that I just share. And right now this is the second definition according to the biggest encyclopedia site, Wikipedia. Global warming is elucidated as an ongoing rising of world average atmosphere. Since the early of 20^th century, world atmosphere has risen of 0.8⁰C or 1.4⁰F where of the atmosphere rising occurred in 1980. It certifies that the atmospheric rising get faster and faster.

From the both prior definitions, all in all we know that the global warming is the rising of world average atmosphere.

Right now, we are going to the second stage. In this section we will learn about the bad effect of the global warming. By knowing the effect, at least we realize that how precious this world is so that we will regularly protect it from every disruption. Here I will share some bad effects of global warming.

1. Tsunami

Firstly, the effect is tsunami. We already know that everyone is timid of this catastrophe. Because it’s also one of the most dangerous and deadly disasters. We can see it on the tsunami that surged Aceh in 2004 where thousands of people were dead at the moment. And this also because of the global warming. Why I said like that. Because the coming big wave to the land area is result of the increasing water volume caused by the melting of ice layer of the pole. And you know, the ice layer melting is cause by the global warming.

2. Rising of hot atmosphere

Furthermore, we are going to second bad effect and like you see that is about rising of hot atmosphere. By the rising of world atmosphere, this world will be uncomfortable to occupy. Moreover, by the existence of various events such as volcano eruption, earth quake, etc. caused by the increasing of hot atmosphere.

3. Melting of pole ice

Finally now we are going to the last bad effect, melting of pole ice. Where in this case it will increase the ocean surface. There is 5.773.000 mile cubic of water at ice area, glacier, and snow. According to national snow and ice data center, if all glacier melts today, the sea will rise for about 230 feet or 70 metres.

Right now we have already known the bad effects of global warming. Then, to prevent those effects we have to get the bottom of the result factors. And now we are going to see the factors for our habit.

Many of our daily habits cause the global warming that threatens our lives. Of course, everyone doesn’t want this earth encountering destruction in fact that’s because of the human their selves. Here I have some of our habits cause the rising of global warming.

1. Burning wood and cutting down tree

The first factor is burning wood and cutting down tree. Tree is a nature composition that will protect its balance. We know that the tree inhales the carbon dioxide that cause the global warming. So, it means that by cutting down the trees the earth will be unbalance such as the global warming and etc. because nothing will inhales the carbon dioxide any more.

2. Air pollution

Well We have checked the first factor. In this section we are going to the second factor and that’s air pollution. Vehicle is one of the factors that gives quite big effect toward the global warming. We know that the vehicle produce the carbon dioxide which is really dangerous for the earth. And nowadays we can see that the vehicle usage gets higher and higher year by year. Even in a family that consists of 5 people, each of them has own or private vehicle and of course the carbon dioxide will get higher and higher.

3. Greenhouse effect

The last one I mean the last factor is about greenhouse effect. Actually, no greenhouse effect that we feel directly in our lives. But this last effect or greenhouse effect becomes the major effect of global warming which is very alarming.

In this stage, we already know the definition, bad effects, even the factors of the global warming. And we all know that the global warming is very dangerous for our running lives in the earth. And besides that we also don’t want this world get worse and worse. So to get that we need to learn maybe the last section of my speech here that is about the solution of the global warming. We just need several simple actions here but in this moment I’ll share two simple actions to protect our earth.

1) Planting tree

This way is very simple but it brings a very big result towards our lives. We also can plant the small tree such as the chili tree, tomato, and etc. through our school, we also can prevent the problem by making school park. It means that we enrich our school with trees that will prevent the rising of global warming. How come? , absolutely because the trees will inhale the carbon dioxide and exhale the oxygen that benefits human or ourselves.

2) Rising feet usage

Here is the last solution and like you see that is about rising feet usage. If the distance between our home to school for instance this school is quite near it’s better for us to go there on foot. That’s an action to anticipate the global warming. We know that walking on foot has no fuel so that no carbon dioxide will be produced. Even by walking on foot we will get benefit such as healthy body, fresh body, and of course besides that it saves our money.

Maybe it’s the end of my speech.
